Experienced Moving Helpers Needed for On-Call Gigs

We are looking for experienced movers to be on-call to assist in moving small furniture items. Items include couches, tables, mattresses, appliances, and other items small enough to fit in a Ford Transit 150 Medium Roof Van. THIS IS AN ON-CALL "GIG" OPPORTUNITY. SOME DAYS WE HAVE SEVERAL JOBS AND SOME DAYS WE MAY NOT HAVE ANY. LOOKING FOR PEOPLE NEARBY THAT ARE WILLING TO STEP IN ON SHORT NOTICE IF YOU'RE AVAILABLE THAT DAY AND TIME. DRIVERS: Must be 25 years-old with a clean driving record and insurance. No commercial driver's license needed. We use a Ford Transit 150 van which will be provided. Fuel costs and moving equipment/supplies provided. Ideally, we are looking for people within 10 miles of Rancho Penasquitos that have reliable transportation to pick up the van for our pick-up and delivery service. This is an independent contractor job with potential to become a part-time to full-time employee as we build momentum. Must be able to lift heavy furniture and have experience using dollies, moving straps, and maneuvering tight spaces and stairs without damaging furniture. You must be able to show proof of your own health insurance. Background check required. HELPERS: Must be 18 years old.
