Press release from the City of Casper: June 15, 2020 During this public health emergency, the transit industry continues to provide essential transportation services for healthcare personnel and other workers who are critical to the COVID-19 response and our nation's economic recovery. While transit ridership has decreased sharply because of the public health emergency, transit agencies across the country are continuing to provide approximately five million trips a day to lifeline services. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has produced a video to thank the transit industry, and particularly your frontline workers, for all they are doing to keep America moving.
