WAUWATOSA, WI — Wisconsin residents living in quarantine and under social-distancing guidelines received some limited good news after Gov. Tony Evers extended the state's Safer At Home order until May 26. In Wauwatosa, it means non-essential travel is still limited, and schools are closed for the spring semester. The Wauwatosa Public Library is offering curb-side pick up. 2. Drop Off Center The Wauwatosa Drop off Center re-opens April 28. 3. Yard Waste Curbside yard waste collection begins May 18. 4. Golf Courses Golf courses may open again, with restrictions including scheduling and paying for tee times online or by phone only, city officials said. Clubhouses and pro shops must remain closed. 5. Non-essential Businesses Non-essential businesses will now be able to do more things as Minimum Basic Operations, including deliveries, mailings, and curb-side pick-up. Non-essential businesses must notify workers of whether they are necessary for the Minimum Basic Operations, city officials said. 6. Arts and Crafts Stores Arts and craft stores may offer expanded curb-side pick-up of materials necessary to make face masks or other personal protective equipment. 7. Tennis Court Open at Hart Park The tennis courts at Hart Park opened again, starting April 24. City officials are asking that tennis players practice physical distancing while on the courts. Playgrounds, the skate park, and Hart Park stadium remain closed.
