WAUWATOSA, WI—Slippery road conditions caused a Milwaukee County Transit bus to veer off the road on Thursday afternoon in Wauwatosa, according to police.
There was one minor injury reported.
Wauwatosa Police responded to a crash at 1:50 p.m. near 68th and State streets, according to police.

"Slippery road conditions caused by this afternoon's snowstorm resulted in a MCTS bus having to veer off the road in order to avoid multiple vehicles that were stopped at a red light in front of it," Matt Sliker, integrated marketing manager for MCTS, said in an email.
The bus came to a complete stop after hitting a patch of bushes and trees. The police department and fire department responded to the scene. The passengers all boarded another bus to continue their trip.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
