(WPRNA): Dec. 11, 2020 Walden Production Resources, Inc. of Pewaukee has been selected as a winner of the WEDC We're All Innovating Contest for the work in the industry during COVID-19. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) announced at their Business Conference this week, the award winners of the 'We're All Innovating Contest' at their virtual event. "With the pandemic, coding and video have evolved our industry further with virtual events. We are thrilled to be able to provide interconnected and interactive virtual and hybrid-live events for nonprofits and underserved communities" said, Christian Dennik, President and founder of WPRNA, Inc. According to the WEDC release from Governor Evers, "The We're All Innovating Contest is the latest effort by WEDC to assist small businesses in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. WEDC distributed more than $220 million in CARES Act funding to nearly 100,000 businesses through various phases of the We're All In initiative. Additionally, WEDC provided more than $2.5 million in state funds to diverse businesses under the Ethnic Minority Emergency Grant program and $5 million to microbusinesses through the Small Business 20/20 program." "As the pandemic has changed our lives, people want to connect now more than ever before and we want to create that sense of real community. We have still been able to hold keynotes with breakout sessions, and have online features to chat, view, and be a true 'participant' in a virtual event experience.
