From the City of Waukesha: Posted on: December 16, 2019 Posted on: December 16, 2019 Detour-Route 8 & 7/8 Detour on Michigan Ave. to be Cancelled on December 17th The Route 8 and 7/8 detour of University Ave. south of Summit and Michigan Ave. including service to North High School will be cancelled effective Tuesday, December 17th. Effective December 17th, the only active detour will be the Route 7 and 7/8 not operating onto the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Campus due to construction on their campus.
