OAK CREEK, WI — A 43-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited by Oak Creek police after authorities say they responded to an incident Friday at a UPS Store over a mask issue. According to Oak Creek police call logs, a manager at the local UPS Store called police just before 1 p.m. on Aug. 7 to report that the woman went "crazy" after being told to put on a face mask by store employees. The manager told police that the woman "coughed all around the store and smeared saliva on the door," according to police call logs. Police said they identified the woman in question by reviewing her postal address that was affixed to the package she dropped off at the store for shipping. According to police, officers reached the woman by phone, where she admitted to the altercation, but she said she only acted like she wiped saliva on the door, but never actually did it. Police said the woman was cited for disorderly conduct due to the incident.
