OAK CREEK, WI — An Oak Creek man says he was the victim of a scam that cost him several thousand dollars, police say. According to Oak Creek police call logs, a 43-year-old Oak Creek man was targeted in an online scam involving Aquafina - a popular brand of bottled water. Police call logs stated the victim was contacted by a person posing as a representative of the water company, saying he would receive $500 if he put an Aquafina sticker on his car. Call logs stated that once he agreed, he noticed that someone withdrew $4,500 from his bank account. Police told the victim to not give out personal or bank information out over the phone, and that officers would investigate the man's claim.
