Description
The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) hosts Kristine Hillmer, president & CEO, Wisconsin Restaurant Association, who will present "Situation: Critical – Can Wisconsin's Restaurant Industry Survive Covid?" The meeting will be held on February 19, 2021, 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Event will be held at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. A plated breakfast will be served.
Steve Kohlmann, Executive Director of IBAW, said, "There's no doubt about it. Wisconsin's restaurant sector has taken it on the chin during the Covid-10 situation, with mandated closures and capacity limits that not only impact the restaurant business itself but all its employees as well. Even if restaurants were to get full capacity back, would the public feel comfortable enough to patronize the business to the point it can survive?"
IBAW members will meet for an in-person meeting at the Wisconsin Club. Note that due to Covid-19 situation, advance registration is required. Seating will be limited at this event. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
Since 1973, the Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) was formed for small business owners to engage in conversation relating to legislation impacting the bottom-line costs of businesses throughout Wisconsin. IBAW is a venue for high-level CEOs, CFOs, COOs, other upper management, and entrepreneurs to network, exchange business ideas, and become educated and involved on issues that impact their business. IBAW is time well spent!
