Greendale Police Arrested Women Following Wreck With Child In Car

GREENDALE, WI—Greendale police say they arrested a woman who crashed into a light pole on Root River Drive on November 16. Police told Patch the woman was arrested under suspicion of driving drunk with her 11-year-old daughter in the car, and police on the scene of the wreck charged her with possession of heroin as well. The wreck happened around 2:22 a.m. on the 6300 block of Root River Drive. Both the child and driver were evaluated by Greendale Fire but refused to be transported to a hospital.
