Road Rage Caused Lane Closure On I-94 Near Brookfield: WSP

BROOKFIELD, WI— Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a road rage incident involving shots fired from a car along I-94 westbound near Brookfield Wednesday afternoon. The incident caused all westbound lanes on I-94 at Moorland Road in Brookfield to close for 40 minutes. Patch reached out to the Wisconsin State Patrol's Sgt. Richard Krisher. He said law enforcement were looking for a bullet casing fired from a car. It is not known if the bullet casing was located. Initial reports indicate a driver, in a black Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows and no license plate, pointed a handgun out the driver's side window and fired a round into a pickup truck. No injuries were reported, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol. At this time the Nissan has not been located.
