Press release from the City of Woodinville: August 25, 2020 In a move to promote economic recovery and put money back into the pockets of Woodinville residents, the City of Woodinville will reduce some permit fees by 50% or more for the remainder of the year. The new fees go into effect on September 1, 2020. Permit fees impacted by the change include: Special Event Fees – Reduced by 50 percent; Building Permit Fees – Reduced by 50 percent for the first one million dollars in permit valuation; Mechanical and Plumbing Permit Fees – Fee waived; Permanent Sign Permit Fees – Fee waived; Temporary Sign Permit Fees – Fee waived; Tree Removal Permits – Fee waived. The reduced fees will remain in effect until December 31, 2020 unless extended by Woodinville City Council.
