Insulation Installer Position Efficiency Revolution, LLC is hiring an Insulation Installer Technician. Experience with blown insulation is preferred but not required. This position is primarily responsible for the safe and quality installation of insulation in residential buildings, working in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and outside. Most of our work is in the attics and crawl spaces of existing homes. Employment is 3-5 days per week. Our mission is to dramatically improve the energy efficiency and comfort of homes, and reduce energy-related pollution which impacts climate change. We contribute to employee health insurance plans after a trial period. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Load and unload insulation materials Complete prep work for installation: includes digging through existing attic insulation in older homes, sealing gaps with foam or caulk, installing soffit vent baffles, etc Load insulation blowing machine with fiberglass or cellulose insulation; regulate flow of materials. Blow to appropriate depth/density Blow insulation into open attics and dense pack insulation into wall and floor cavities Install vapor and air barriers Cut sections of batt insulation to the proper fit, install in walls, ceilings and floors Use common tools such as knives, saws, and hammer tacker staplers Properly maintain equipment and tools Follow safety guidelines and procedures Ensure clean job site Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks Ability to work in all weather. Must be punctual and reliable. valid driver's license required.
