TACOMA, WA – A man has been charged with assault following a shooting in Tacoma early Thursday morning. Police responded to a reported shooting in the 8700 block of S. Hosmer Street around 1 a.m. Thursday, according to the Tacoma Police Department Twitter account. A male victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said. A 47-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault, possession of a stolen firearm and felony eluding.
