Dr. Jane Stavem, the Superintendent of Lake Washington School District (LWSD), today announced her resignation from the District, effective June 30, 2020. She has accepted a position as Superintendent in Sioux Fall, South Dakota, effective July 1, 2020 "I have loved my time in Lake Washington School District and planned to stay much longer," stated Dr. Stavem. "This return to the Midwest allows me to be in much closer proximity to my extended family and care for needs that have emerged for them over the last six months."
