Here we have a 2 year old sweet tabby cat. She is an excellent mouser. likes to stay in in the winter and in the summer roam the yard but stays close. does not mind smaller dogs and if the large dogs dont chase her she is good. mellow and uses her litter box. She is spayed but will need rabies this summer. Moving to a place that does not accept cats and I am trying this route before the shelter is even a t hought. she deserves that.
