Press release from the City of Puyallup: February 16, 2021 The City of Puyallup is now accepting applications for the AWC Center for Quality Communities Scholarship Fund. A $1,500 scholarship is available through a statewide competitive process for students who are actively engaged in their city government and/or community and plan to attend post-secondary school in fall 2021. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the institution and can be used for education expenses. ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, a student must be a Washington resident, graduating from high school, home school, or receiving a GED in spring/summer 2021. The student must plan to continue their education at an accredited college or trade school in the 2021-2022 academic year on at least a half-time basis. The student must have a history of being involved with a city government or with a community/school leadership activity APPLICATION MATERIALS: Information and application materials can be found at http://cfqc.org/scholarships/.
