Description
The Salvation Army (TSA) Puyallup Valley Corps Community Center is a drop-in meal site at 4009 9th St. SW, Puyallup. Applicant must be able to plan, prepare and serve meals to members during scheduled hours. Applicant must be patient and able to deal with all members, including seniors and their ongoing circumstances (such as hearing loss, stiff joints, special diets, smaller portions, overly spicy foods, etc.). Applicant will be responsible for purchasing decisions, keeping the "budget" in mind. Applicant will be supervised by the Activity Program Coordinator and/or the Corps Officers assigned. Applicant is expected to understand and enforce all PTM and safety requirements in and around kitchen. Applicant will understand and execute the facility's fire and disaster plans and follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
