IT Operations Support Technician Our SmartTech Department in Kirkland Washington is searching for tech-savvy individuals that poses at least 2 years of IT experience for our client located in Redmond! Do you like to take apart and rebuild systems, well in this role, you will work with a team to create networks, work with HR to create user profiles, resolve server issues, answer user questions and install update software/hardware on site. This is not a remote opportunity and you are expected to use your exceptional interpersonal customer service skills in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment to facilitate IT Operation needs. What you will do! Coordinate production maintenance activities related to automation lines, software and related technologyTroubleshoot production related issues, involving device configuration and automationAdminister with HR and hiring supervisor new employee account access set-upDrive technical disaster recovery plans on location, such as fail-over and temporarily switch settings files on production PC’s accordingly including softwareUnder engineering guidance, support manufacturing tools and software with related investigations, such as Windows registry issuesManagement of local phone system, vendor and other operating itemsSupport problem resolution related to internally developed software toolsCoordinate operator access for internally developed software and related production toolsSupport production employees during major software/server updates and/or restartsFacilitate new product introduction as it relates to production tools, software and automation5 Star applicants will be comfortable coming into an office environment, this is not a remote opportunity!Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent experience2 to 5 years’ experience in a related positionComprehensive knowledge of operating systems, hardware, software, and networksExperience with network based computing systems, specifically proxy servers and TCP/IP, as well as other machine based communication protocols, such as USBPossess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and prioritizing skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience Requirements This is a temporary to PERMANENT opportunity!
