BELLEVUE, WA — The Bellevue Arts Museum plans to reopen its galleries Saturday, following relaxed guidelines that allow for more indoor activities with limited capacity in phase 2 counties. The museum will use a timed-entry system, and guests must make reservations before they arrive. Moving forward, the museum plans to be open Friday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before their slot to ensure on-time entry. Several added safety measures will be in place, including: Regular sanitization of high-traffic and high-touch areas, including elevators, bathrooms, and door pullsProviding single-use face masks to all visitors who do not have their ownRequiring staff to wear face masks in all common areasRequiring staff to monitor themselves for signs of illnessMasks are required at all times in the museum and should be worn so that they fully cover your nose and chin. Follow the marked paths within the building. This helps ensure safe traffic flow and adequate social distance for all guests.Remember to social distance. Give other visitors and groups at least six feet of space while in the Store and Museum Forum.The coat check and second and third-floor restrooms are temporarily closed.No food or drink allowed in the Museum.The museum will also collect contact information, and keep it for 14 days, to aid in contact tracing efforts in the event of an illness.
