BELLEVUE, WA ā Several blocks of Lake Hills Boulevard were expected to remain closed throughout much of Monday afternoon, following a large water main break in the area, according to city officials.

By noon, crews had isolated the leak, but repairs were expected to require several hours of work. A detour will remain in place until crews clear the scene.

Those living in the area are asked to avoid using water until repairs are complete. After that, residents are encouraged to run cold water for 5-10 minutes to flush out any remaining sediment.
