WOODBRIDGE, VA — This week, Woodbridge's Boston Market restaurant hosts some new signs to promote its new Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The restaurant at the corner of Prince William Parkway and Smoketown Road now has a sign calling it "Nashville Market," in honor of the chain's new sandwich offering.
To promote the new sandwich, the Woodbridge Boston Market location is also giving away Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken sandwiches to the first 50 guests to visit the restaurant this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The location will open at 11 a.m. each day.
Still, the deals don't end there. Tuesday and Wednesday the chain is offering a buy-one-get-one-free offer for those who purchase the sandwich and a drink, and download a coupon from BostonMarket.com.
Boston Market's new sandwich is the latest development in what fast-food brands are referring to as "the Chicken Sandwich Wars." In a press release, Boston Market claims that their new Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich has ended the so-called wars. "2020 is behind us," said Randy Miller, president of Boston Market, in a news release. "And so are the chicken wars."
Several fast food chains have released new chicken sandwiches in recent months, including Wendy's, Jack in the Box, and Sonic. McDonald's new chicken sandwich is scheduled to release in February.
