Robert Hanssen was an FBI agent as well as a Soviet spy.
He and Aldrich Ames from the CIA played a role in the capture and killing of many agents from the United States in the Cold War.
Hanssen is now serving 15 life times at a prison located in Colorado, according to a release from the Cold War Museum.
FBI Historian John F. Fox Jr. will share his story in an upcoming presentation, Ultimate Betrayal: Robert Hanssen, the People He Got Killed, and the Lessons We Learned.
The Cold War Museum and Old Bust Head Brewing Company are hosting the program, which is being offered on Zoom. It begins at 2 p.m. on February 7.
Fox, who became the historian in 2003, received his masters in political science from Boston College and doctorate in modern American history from the University of New Hampshire. He has worked with the museum on various projects.
Tickets for the online presentation are $20 and can be purchased on eventbrite.
