What's Up Prince William
February 17, 2021
Washington, D.C., and parts of Virginia and Maryland could be getting more snow and ice.
A winter storm watch will be in effect for the Washington, Baltimore and Fredericksburg areas through late Thursday night.
At least 5 inches of snow and a quarter of an inch or more of ice are expected, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The ice will likely lead to tree damage and power outages, and it may be almost impossible for residents to travel.
Community members are encouraged to keep an eye on the weather forecasts.
