Apply HERE Kate Gibney and Divya T. Ahuja are local artists in the Northern Virginia area who are teaming up to keep the arts alive in these challenging times. When the pandemic affected the entire world, the arts and crafting community was among the hardest hit. With craft shows coming to a complete standstill, we decided to come up with an alternative for our crafting community. We have collaborated to build a virtual gallery featuring art created by artists based in the United States. Our website “Art at Your Doorstep” will have its official launch on October 1, 2020. This virtual gallery will connect shoppers to the artists’ websites, social media links, or other forms of contact. Our mission is to keep inspiration and creativity thriving and we invite you to be a part of this venture. All financial transactions are between the artist and the buyer. The website will not be involved in any monetary transactions between the artists and the buyers. No commissions from any sales will be collected. There will only be a small subscription fee of $5 per month, per category that you apply for. Once your application gets accepted, the subscription fees will be collected on a quarterly basis. Our mission is to promote your works though our website via many channels and technologies including social media, search engine optimization, and other affiliated groups. Application Requirements: Each application requires 4 high resolution images per category.The images need to be taken on a white background and should be square in format.You can apply in more than one category, but each category will need to have a separate application.
