VIENNA, VA — A multi-vehicle crash spurred delays on Interstate 66 near the Vienna Metro station Friday morning. The crash happened on westbound I-66 past Nutley Street (Exit 62), according to a Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination alert tweet. Footage captured by local media outlets appeared to show five vehicles involved and Virginia State Police responding. There were no initial reports of injuries. Shortly after 7 a.m., all lanes were open and the crash scene was cleared. Delays were expected to continue for two miles.
