Press release from the City of Roanoke: April 1, 2020 The escalators in the Pedestrian Walkway Bridge will be temporarily closed for repairs starting Thursday morning, April 2, and will remain closed until Friday afternoon, April 3. Pedestrians needing access to the walkway bridge are asked to use the elevator located just past the escalators in Towers Parking Garage until repairs are completed.
