Press release from the City of Norfolk: May 8, 2020 NORFOLK, VA – Norfolk's City Council will hold a FY 2021 Proposed Budget work session on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 4 p.m., Norfolk City Hall Building, 10th Floor Large Conference Room. A Real Estate Reassessment Public Hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m., followed by the City Council Formal Session at 7 p.m., in the 11th Floor Council Chamber. To comply with state and federal recommendations to slow the spread of COVID-19, occupancy in the Council Chamber within City Hall will be limited. However, City Council members and city staff want to ensure that all Norfolk residents can participate in the public hearing and formal Council meeting.
