MCLEAN, VA — A crash prompted emergency utility work in McLean for much of Tuesday, Dec. 3. According to Dominion Energy spokesperson Peggy Fox, a vehicle hit and broke a utility pole on Kirby Road near Westmoreland Street. Repair work is expected to last until 5 p.m. Kirby Road is closed between Freedom Lane and Barbee Street. Dominion Energy crews and Fairfax County Police are on the scene.
