VIRGINIA — It's just a few hours until your Thanksgiving 2020 dinner, which will host a few less faces but families are still cooking and sharing meals on Nov. 26. Their hours may be reduced, but many grocery stores will be open in northern Virginia and the District of Columbia for last-minute shopping trips for cleaning products or pie and whipped topping. Unlike recent years, retail giants Target and Walmart will not be open on Thanksgiving 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. Here are the hours for grocery stores that are open on Thanksgiving Day, along with a list of those that are closed: Albertson's: Select stores should be open from 6 a.m. until at least 10 p.m.CVS: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Pharmacy hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.Food Lion: The majority of stores will be open on Thanksgiving.
