Leesburg Cancels Trash, Recycling Pickup On Thanksgiving Day

LEESBURG, VA — The Town of Leesburg will not collect trash or recycling on Thanksgiving Day, the town announced in a news release on Thursday. Instead, collections will shift by one day. Collection will vary depending on residents' addresses. For residents in southwest Leesburg and Meadowbrook, collection will be completed on Friday, Nov. 27. Collection will be completed in Southeast Leesburg on Nov. 28.
