Learn the Native American history of Robinson Preserve as you kayak with Archeologist Jeff Moates from FPAN. Journey through the mangrove forests of Robinson Preserve with Archeologist Jeff Moates and discover the historical uses of the land, ecological restoration, and how to spot the evidence or remains of indigenous people’s past. Program suitable for ages 16 and older who can meet the County's minimum eligibility requirements. Program sponsored by Florida Public Archaeology Network, West Central & Central in partnership with Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources. Participants must have their own canoe or kayak and safety gear. All participants must wear a life jacket and bring a whistle.
