Keeping healthy while accomplishing life's basic tasks is vitally important for area senior citizens. Fortunately, for those who reside in Herndon, Herndon Village Network (HVN) continues to make this a little easier by providing essential services, including: Private transportation of healthy HVN members to "must do" doctor appointments, pharmacies, and grocery stores; Pickup and delivery of ordered prescriptions and groceries, so that HVN members do not have to go into stores; and Purchase and delivery of shelf-stable groceries to senior citizens residing at Herndon Harbor House and Kendrick Court Apartments. As one recent recipient of a large tote bag of groceries shared: I wanted to ...tell you that there are a lot of adjectives that I could use to describe what I found in the bag— wonderful for that mask for sure and, wow, the toilet paper and paper towels and soap! ...Everything is great. Well simply say it was a perfect gift, and thank you so much. It may be cloudy and not so nice outside, but the sunshine [is] in my apartment.
