HERNDON, VA — Officers from the Herndon Police Department charged two men in connection with multiple crimes against a child that was known to them, according to the weekly crime report. It's not clear if there was one victim or more than one child involved. In the first case, Herndon Police, in conjunction with the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, arrested Daniel Warren Clark. 43, of Manassas on Jan. 26, in the 10000 block of Barrington Park Circle in Manassas. They charged him with four felony counts of taking indecent liberties with child by a person in custodial or supervisory relationship against a juvenile victim that is known to him. Clark was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond. On Jan. 27, officers arrested Dario Alfonso Figueroa Rodas, 41, of Herndon, in the 1200 block of Springtide Place. They charged him with the rape of a juvenile victim who was known to him. He is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Between Jan. 25 and Jan. 31, Town of Herndon police officers issued 148 traffic summonses, including 13 for driving with no operator's license and four for driving on a suspended or revoked license. There were eight reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
