FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Fairfax County police say a woman was hospitalized in a shooting in the Falls Church area of the county on Wednesday. The shooting happened at a home in the 3300 block of Wilkins Drive, which is south of Leesburg Pike and the Seven Corners area. The woman remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say all people involved are accounted for. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances of the shooting and will release additional information when available. There is no apparent threat to the public, according to police.
