Description
ARLINGTON, VA — Meet Tyson, a 1 -year old Great Dane available for adoption through the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.
Tyson is such a conscientious pet that he put together a list of his favorite things for potential adopters:
Tyson's favorite things are: food, couches, naps, and attention/affection. He is a great sniffer and is always alert on walks for squirrels or other fun.
But he's not so into: sirens and he avoids the vacuum, but really he's pretty chill.
His special talents are: leaning on his preferred people, snoring on the couch while napping, drawing attention everywhere he goes like a celebrity!
His perfect day would be: unlimited food, snuggles on the couch, long walks and playing with a tennis ball – turns into a puppy!
If Tyson was an ice cream flavor, he would be: rocky road! He's so sweet like vanilla and powerful like chocolate, a goofy nut, and a really big marshmallow softy.
Important facts about Tyson: Tyson responds well to calm cues and redirecting his focus with words, a gentle touch and sometimes, high-desire treats. He is fully house-trained, he also knows sit, wait, and paw. He is working on stay, lie down, drop it, leave it. He is food motivated and eager to learn! He loves people and pretty much ignores his housemate, the cat. He also draws a lot of attention and we enjoy 'sharing' him with his fans as he soaks up the affection from others.
