ARLINGTON, VA — Although inclement weather has closed Arlington County Government courts and facilities on Thursday, the public can still access county offices virtually, according to a post on the county's official Twitter account.
Thursday is a snow day for students in the Arlington Public Schools. There will be no distance learning or in-person learning for APS students. School buildings and offices are closed. Unless essential personnel receive other instructions from their supervisor, they are expected to report to work at their regular time. APS has authorized emergency administrative leave for all other employees.
The Family Technology Call Center is closed on Thursday. All programs supporting in-person learning, athletic activities, team practices, in-person technology support, and other programs on school property are canceled.
The Arlington School Board will meet virtually as scheduled, beginning at 7 p.m., on Thursday.
