Indecent Exposure, Peeping Investigated In Arlington Mill Area

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating two incidents that occurred recently in the Arlington Mill neighborhood, one involved indecent exposure and the other peeping, according to the daily crime report. Officers were dispatched around 2:50 p.m., on Tuesday, for the report of an exposure in the 700 block of South Arlington Mill Drive. They learned the victim had been walking on a trail in the area when she noticed a man touching himself inappropriately. When the victim attempted to photograph the man, he fled. Authorities said the same man was seen in the area a week earlier, exposing and touching himself inappropriately. Police described the suspect as a Black man with a dark complexion, stocky build, and short hair with a 5 o'clock shadow. He was about 30-years of age, stood 6-foot tall, and weighed 230 pounds. He was wearing black shorts, a gray hoodie, and a black mask. In the second incident, police were dispatched around 8:18 a.m., on Wednesday, to the 5200 block of 8th Road South for the report of threats. The officers learned the victim had been walking in the area around 7:51 a.m., when an unknown man approached her and attempted to engage her in conversation. He informed her that he had observed her inside her residence through a window. The man then fled the area before police arrived. Police described the suspect as a Black man, between 38-40 years of age, with black facial hair. He stood about 5-foot-10 and had a muscular build. He was wearing a light gray jacket, black shirt or sweatshirt, and khaki pants. ACPD is continuing to investigate both of these cases.
