ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man who went missing on Saturday night was found deceased Wednesday in Fairfax County, according to a police release.
Oscar Flores, 27, was last seen around 8 p.m., on Saturday, in the area of the Dulles Toll Road and Wolf Trap in Fairfax County. Flores' family was concerned about his health and welfare, and ACPD released a missing person's report on Tuesday.
Acting on the request of ACPD, Fairfax County Police Department dispatched its helicopter around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday to assist in locating Flores, according to an FCPD spokesman. As the helicopter searched the area around Dulles Toll Road, they located Flores off the roadway near Trap Road. Flores was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives from FCPD's Major Crimes Bureau assumed the death investigation. Following a preliminary investigation, detectives do not suspect foul play, according to the FCPD spokesman. The Fairfax County Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.
