Investigation Continues After Shooting In Annandale

UPDATE: Suspect Wanted In Killing Of Annandale Man: Police ANNANDALE, VA — Fairfax County Police continue to investigate a shooting that killed one at an Annandale apartment community Friday. Officers responded around 5 p.m. to the 4100 block of Wadsworth Court. One person was located on the scene with a gunshot wound. Officers provided aid until rescue personnel arrived, and the victim was pronounced dead on the scene. He was identified as Jose Alexander Villa Lobo Guevara, 20, of Annandale. Police do not believe the incident was random and that there isn't an ongoing threat to public safety. Detectives continue to examine evidence and interview witnesses. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800.
