Press release from The Woodlands Township: July 6, 2020 THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (July 6, 2020) – Residents are invited to enjoy live music at Hughes Landing® on scenic Lake Woodlands Thursday evenings this summer. Rock the Row features local and regional bands playing a variety of favorites from classic rock and pop to Motown each Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. The summer lineup of events for 2020 features: Thursday, July 9Level One Band (Motown/Funk) Thursday, July 16Ripp Tackett (Texas Rock) Thursday, July 23Brenda Guy The One Woman Show (Soul) Thursday, July 30Vinyl Stripes (Rockabilly/Rock n' Roll) Thursday, August 6Mechanix (Classic Rock) Thursday, August 13The Goods (Variety/Dance/Top 40) The concert series is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is sponsored by The Howard Hughes Corporation®. The concert events are free and open to the public. All entertainment is subject to change. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. Those planning to attend the concerts should practice social distancing, refrain from gathering in large groups and continue following all guidelines established by the CDC when in public spaces and around others outside of your household.
