Join us as we kick off Metropark Square's monthly event series with the Houston Lion Kings, a group of performers that dance and play as lions and dragons to the beating of drums, cymbals and gongs. What: Houston Lions Kings performance to celebrate the Chinese New YearWho: ANYONE can join in the fun for free!When: Saturday, January 11, 2020             12 p.m. (noon) to 1 p.m.Where: Metropark Square              8888 Metropark Drive              Shenandoah, TX 77385Why: Celebrate the kickoff to Metropark Square's monthly event series and the start of the Chinese New Year with this family-friendly event! The Houston Lion Kings Chinese Dragon & Lion Dance Team will get people dancing on their feet and will make children and adults alike wish they had a pet dragon or lion of their own.Following the performance, the Houston Lion Kings will stick around for photos, so don't miss your chance to get a picture with a Chinese lion and/or dragon. Additionally, Metropark Square businesses will be at the event offering goodies and information about what's to come in the next few months. Don't forget - Metropark Square will host monthly events on its outdoor event lawn the second Saturday of each month.
