From the Klein Independent School District: By Megan Parman -January 14, 2020 Each of our five high schools will put on a musical production this spring, which means you have FIVE chances to come see first-hand why Klein ISD is consistently a Best Community for Music Education – 21 years and counting to be exact! The musicals are 100 percent student-produced under the careful and passionate direction of dedicated directors. Yes, our students build the beautiful sets, create the perfect costumes, play in the orchestra, and perform with poise. "The musicals that our high schools put on each year allow for incredible collaboration between ALL of our high school fine arts groups," Klein ISD Director of Fine Arts Joel Wren said. "Students from theatre, band, choir, orchestra, visual arts, and dance are able to come together to contribute their special talents to create an outstanding show. Our teachers and directors work tirelessly to provide a best-in-class educational experience for our students during rehearsals and subsequent performances." At the conclusion of the performances, a number of Tommy Tune Awards and scholarships will be up for grabs. See the schedule below and make sure to snag your ticket soon!
