Description

Experience a real-life ghost hunt in a 130-year-old haunted theatre! It was a dark and stormy Halloween night when the cornerstone of the Ghostlight Theatre was laid in 1889. Formerly a church, the building was gifted to Starry Night Theatre, Inc in 2001 and was reborn as the Ghostlight Theatre. Join Amanda from Spook-Eats as well as the owner/ director/ playwright of the theatre, L. Don Swartz, and other members of the theatre company as they open their doors for a public ghost hunt. Hear ghost stories and claims from throughout the building, including the basement, the stage, the green room, the balcony, and the infamous spiral staircase. Then, the hunt begins, and guests will be given access to locations usually denied to patrons. Tickets are $35 per person and include a real-life paranormal investigation. The hunt will run from 7:00pm-11:00pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021. No previous experience necessary! Tickets are limited to 30 brave souls (16 and older only). Guests are encouraged to bring their own equipment (flashlights digital recorders, portals, EMF detectors, etc.) to investigate as long as it does not detract from others' experiences. Copies of Amanda's two books highlighting the theatre--A Haunted Atlas of Western New York and The Ghosts of the Ghostlight Theatre--will be available for purchase. 100% of the proceeds of The Ghosts of the Ghostlight Theatre go directly to the theatre. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales goes directly to restoring the Ghostlight Theatre. All ticket sales are final. No refunds. If we suspect you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol when you arrive/during the hunt, you will be removed from the premises without a refund.
