Julian Castro, the former mayor of San Antonio and the former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, endorsed Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren in her 2020 bid for the presidency. The endorsement comes just days after Castro suspended his own campaign after failing to garner enough support in the polls or donations to make recent Democratic debates. Castro announced his support of Warren on Twitter, saying they share a vision of America where "everyone counts." Today I'm proud to endorse @ewarren for president.
