Conditions will worsen overnight and through Monday, February 15. The public should stay at home unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. As a result of the dangerous, icy conditions many City streets, Bexar County roads and TxDOT highways are being closed. The City and County issued a Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) informing the public about the road closures and urging them to stay home. The Wireless Emergency Alert message sent was as follows: WARNING: Many City streets, Bexar County roads and TxDOT highways are being closed to ice and dangerous conditions.
