Press release from the City of San Antonio: February 18, 2021 Alamodome appointments on February 19th will resume at 12:00 p.m. CONTACT: For members of the media, please contact: [email protected] Laura Mayes, City of San Antonio (210) 207-1337 Michelle Vigil, City of San Antonio (210) 207-8172 For questions from the general public, please contact: [email protected] COVID-19 Hotline (210) 207-5779 SAN ANTONIO (February 18, 2021) – As the City of San Antonio continues to monitor the local weather conditions, it has been decided to open the Alamodome for people who have a scheduled second dose COVID-19 vaccine appointment starting at 12:00 p.m. tomorrow. Current icy conditions are expected to improve in the morning. For those who have appointments scheduled before 12:00 p.m. tomorrow, they may arrive at the Alamodome at any time between 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please take your time and be safe, nobody will be turned away if they arrive later than their scheduled time. As a reminder to the public, they must have a second dose vaccine appointment scheduled for tomorrow to enter the Alamodome. Those with appointments for a different day will not be accepted. We also ask for the public to please be patient since we will be taking all morning appointments in the afternoon. Our staff will do the best they can to ensure a smooth process and be able to get everyone vaccinated.
