WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — A man arrested in "humiliating fashion" during a January 2019 arrest as cameras for the now-defunct reality show "Live PD" reality show rolled has sued Williamson County in federal court, according to a published report. Scott Phillip Lewis said in his lawsuit that the arrest left him with physical and emotional scars in an encounter with police he claims was escalated for dramatic effect for the benefit of the reality show's police drama narrative, according to The Austin American-Statesman. Lewis also claims that while part of the police encounter was filed by the show's producers, none of the footage was forwarded to his attorney to corroborate his account of the incident, according to the report. According to Williamson County Jail records, Lewis was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Jan. 25, 2019. He was booked into the county jail on a $2,000 bond. >>> Read the full story at Austin American-Statesman
