Press release from the City of Pasadena:
February 19, 2021
Boil Water Notice Continues The City of Pasadena has not turned off its water supply. However, Pasadena, which receives nearly all its water from the City of Houston's Southeast Water Purification Plant (SWPP), is still experiencing low water pressure and is currently under a boil water notice, per Texas Commission on Environmental Quality ( TCEQ) requirements. Much of Harris County is also under a boil water notice as can be viewed at https://hcpublichealth.maps.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html?appid=6fe17959d3924494922bed7640ef9dcd.
Unfortunately, the boil water notice cannot be lifted until TCEQ gives its approval.
If you have little or no water, it could be due to the following:
Leaking/broken or frozen water lines, Equipment malfunctions due to the inclement weather, City receiving lower than normal water pressure, If you suspect internal water pipe damage, turn off the water to your home. If you are having trouble turning off your water, please contact Pasadena Public Works at (713) 475-5584.
