Spotted lost Dog on I-45 near the Woodlands

I spotted a large medium darkish colored dog with a collar walking down the CENTER lane of interstate 45 between the woodlands and conroe around exits 80-81 maybe between research Forest and College park Dr. On the southbound side headed north bound!! It was night time and I almost hit him/her with my 18 wheeler. Could not stop to get a picture or rescue. Just hoping the owner is looking and happens to stumble across this post and to check I-45. I hope your baby makes it out ok.
